I would go standard and do a step-up (i believe that is the term) until you see decent activity. From what I learned at Whitelabs, yeast culture characteristics change depending on the strain (example: some lumpier than others, etc,) Might be normal but you could always call into Whitelabs...

Just brewed a batch of Brown Ale using WPL005. Looking to harvest it as well. I've watched a 1000 videos on harvesting.. always looking for more tips and suggestions.

I would risk it = harvest it, then make a starter to check-out it's viability. Time consuming but it's fun :)
