For both them I did plug them in right away, I assumed that would be best and at the end of a move day, I guys gotta have some cold brew. I do hear the compressors running but they do not get cold. Any other troubleshooting ideas? Thanks

No, I took good care of them and they were both upright during the move. In fact the move was only about 10 miles!

So I recently moved and in doing so both of my chest freezer used for homebrew apparently died. I use a John Control regulator on both of them and while they both run, neither chest freezer gets cold, with the exception of small spot near the real top. Can also hear a bit liquid gurgling...

I do a whirlpool with a spoon and then chill with CF chiller. I have not noticed any problems with hotside aeration. My preboil volume is usually around 21 gallons in a 26 gallon BK. Lid is always on during spin down. I use to use an immersion chiller but it took too long with this volume and...

If in doubt, use a blowoff. If you have plenty of head space than don't worry about it. You can also sit the carboy in one of the ubiquitous blue tubs....keeps the mess contained....just in case. Also, there nothing like learning from mistakes, it's the best way! cheers

Yes I do mean hydroelectric power. Now I just need to interface the bike with my march pumps!

How are you using it? In a cooler style MT? If so, use some high end silicone where the plastic bits meet the metal ones. If using a SS MT, than I would suggest a Brewmometer! Good luck.
