Thought I'd share a video of some serious cider machines we used last weekend...Yes, of course they were designed by homebrewers!

100% electricity free...no dam turbines were spun in the chopping of apples.

Very very cool!!! Im just north of you in Gig Harbor Wa and im going to be pressing some apples soon. This video inspired be to build my own press. Thanks for the post.
 
The concept is exhilarating , but the principal looks tiring! Haha, get it? (I know, I'm a looser:eek:)

when you refer to "Salmon Friendly" and "dam power", do you mean Hydroelectric power?

Yes I do mean hydroelectric power.

Now I just need to interface the bike with my march pumps!
