    Experience with Northwest Hop Farms?

I still have a bunch of pounds from Northwest Hop Farms that I don't know what to do with. They are low quality, the lupulin powder might be just ground up hops. I also have some from another BC hop farm that I can't recall the name that are not very good.

Using Maple Syrup in a beer

I always wanted to boil maple sap until it reached an OG of around 1.050 and ferment that out with ale yeast.

fermenting and serving in the same keg

It's a wine filter. I made some MK1 floating dip tube from this site: http://think.gusius.com/category/diy-projects/the-brewery/ Before using floating dip tubes, I would remove the keg poppet and the quick connect guts and I'd have no problem serving IPAs from the fermenter. You just have to...

fermenting and serving in the same keg

I brew 11 gallons split in 3 kegs with floating dip tubes. I connect the kegs together and the last one has a spunding valve on it. Its set at 5 for fermentation and 20-30psi after 3 days. If I dry hop, I'll add them after a day. Ferment and serve from the same kegs. I can brew and drink...

    Brass Orifice for BG14 burner

I need a brass orifice for my bg14 burner. It seems that all i can find are 1/8"mnpt x 3/8" flare but I need a 1/4"mnpt. Maybe I can just use a bushing to bring it to 1/4"?

    Just a question about bottling....

I've bottled in twist offs before. They can be a pain to remove from the bell but they carbonate fine. I never tried to reuse the caps. Also I'm in Canada were we reuse our twist offs so they're a little heavier.

Sediment/ floaties on sides of bottles?

It's either dirty bottles or the beer isn't fully carbed yet.

    Used bottles

I've been using the Canadian twist-offs for a while now. Never had a problem but I hear they're stronger than the American ones.

    High Pressure Needle Valve

Hello, I'm thinking about using the following valves on my brew stand. Any reason why they wouldn't work? I can't find information about what kind of threads they have. http://www.ebay.ca/itm/271611249948?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
