Im moving and I'm selling some extra equipment I have laying around. Everything is in good working condition. Kegging newbie here: Can someone help me understand some things?

1/4" line has a resistance factor of .85 psi/ft. 3/16 line is about 2.7 psi/ft. So as you can see your 1/4 lines are not cutting it. I personally serve everything in my kegerator at 12 psi at 38 degrees with ten feet of 3/16 line. That's pretty much the proven equation around here. I get...

    Brewpubs in Troy MI

My favorite brewpub, Dragonmead (I suppose its technically a microbrewery) is just south of Troy in Warren. Its on 11 mile rd on the S/W corner of groesbeck and I-696. They have great beer and great people. The owner really enjoys it and takes great care of the place. The staff know about beer...

    stainless stout faucet?

I had the same problem that you are having. When I was looking, it seemed like every "stainless" stout faucet was not completely stainless. The only stout faucet that I found that was completely stainless was the perlick faucet. They have it for sale on their site and it was about $125 last time...

    R.I.P. Kegerator MK1

For what its worth, you can "hotwire" it to start even with a bad relay. I take no responsibility for what you do though. I did this once and it worked, but its obviously not ideal...

    R.I.P. Kegerator MK1

You should test the overload/start relay. Its on the compressor. If that goes bad it will not allow the fridge to start. If it is the culprit, you can order a new one for around 15 dollars. You can also test the compressor with an ohm meter. As demonstrated here...

    Fridge Sizing

I have a regular size upright, freezer on top, fridge for my kegerator. I can fit 5 kegs, 3 in the back and 2 in the front. I could fit six if I removed the plastic shelf from the inside of the door. I also have my co2 cylinder outside the fridge. If it was going to be somewhere in the main...

Ordering the rest of my Keezer parts

If you're getting stainless faucets and shanks, I'd go with stainless tailpieces as well.

    Nitrogen question

the point behind the 75/25 mix is to use the high pressure of the nitrogen to push the beer through the faucet/ restrictor plate, and use the 25% co2 to maintain proper carbonation. If you were to carb with co2 and push with pure nitrogen, your beer will lose carbonation and go flat.
