Want to get into kegging, need some help

I don't have anything bought or setup yet, I used to do everything naturally in the past and want to get back into it again. I've never filtered my stuff or kegged it, so would I need a fridge for a keg? Would it go bad if I never refrigerated the keg? The things I'll need are co2 tank...

    Turn imperial stout to normal?

Haven't thought of that, thanks ;) Better than risking a batch, just cut it down as you drink hehe. I'll see if it even needs to be cut when its ready

    Turn imperial stout to normal?

Ah right, seems odd without the background of this story. Long story short, really really short. Unprepared for the time it took to make, 3am needed sleep for 7am work. So I didn't have time to boil water and cool it down then lower the sg. I didn't care near the end is what I'm saying. I...

    What is this? with pictures

3 hours, I posted as I finished pouring extra boiled water. The foam is from the splashes so it gets well aerated Edit: Boiled, cooled water to same temperature as the wort.

    Turn imperial stout to normal?

Not knowing anything about that, how much water is allowed to boil with dextrose to prime as most of us prime rather than force carbonate? Also would a vacuum sealer purge the oxygen?

    Turn imperial stout to normal?

Prior to priming, should I add extra water to turn imperial to normal? Same goes with my other beer, turn 1.062 to 1.055 or something like that. Will it give different taste as if I were of done that in the beginning of time? Of course I'll checking sg readings so I don't go over, leave a...

I made Irish Stout a month ago and decided to use the extract in a plastic jug I had kept in the cold basement. Made it, seemed fine nothing looked bad or spoiled. Used whirlfloc half tab last 15min and when I cooled it down obviously all the stuff was at the bottom. Dumped the trub in the...

    Coopers malt extract

Turned out sooo gooed!! That was 6 weeks I think, amazing. I didn't expect it to turn out this well from a coopers kit lol. I now have 1 month old Irish Stout, bottling tomorrow and made blonde ale with sterling gold hops 60min, sorachi ace 15min.

Irish Stout, too much headspace turned out not enough

I don't like the idea having silicon based drops in my beer xD Anyways, it looks like 2 1\2 inches of trub already. Looks pretty cool, never done stout so is this perfectly normal? I'm leaving this for 4-6 weeks if thats fine with that much trub? Like this guys picture, but cooler. I'd take...

Ale Pail is just the same as a food grade pail that comes with grape juice to make wine right?

Irish Stout, too much headspace turned out not enough

That was a guess =) Didn't know whether or not it mattered how much water it was made with the same amount of fermentable sugars. Trail and hopefully no error in taste xD

Irish Stout, too much headspace turned out not enough

Was the problem that I accidentally made that into 6-8%? OG was meant to be 1.050, I made it 1.070 cause I didn't boil enough water and cooled down. Thats why so much headspace I need to know if I'm good with just paper towel or a cloth. I don't want any infections. I will add airlock when it...
