    Grain Mill

I'm selling my Crankandstein 220C, it has a new input bearing due to a failed motorizing attempt but works flawlessly now. I have the hopper and can make a base from the existing cabinet parts but that would jack up shipping. I'm asking $50+ actual shipping. Let me know if you're interested and...

Do you need a 1 off Stainless part built for your system? Let's discuss it.

This post may have been a bit misleading. I am still interested in this and yes it needs to pull through the 3" TC, sorry for being a moron.

It would need to fit through so I can remove it to attach my CIP sprayer.

Jay, I'm looking for a way to pass your mash stirrer through a 3" TC port I have in the lid of my mash tun in such a way that I could spin it while maintaining seal. The MT will be purged with CO2 or N2 which I want to maintain. I was thinking either a sealed bearing pressed or welded into the...

I need a 1/2" NPT coupler to 4" TC, just like your 3" version. How much would that run me? Thanks.

Beverage Factory / Kegco Brite Tank

I made a short video of my initial inspection. One thing I forgot to include is that the dip tube is bent so that it ends up in the center-ish portion of the keg. After filling to about 10ish gallons (about 38L) I pushed the star san out into two corny kegs and what was left over was about 1.5...

How to add permanent volume markings to a kettle (illustrated)

Here's how you make this stupid easy. Step one determine your desired graduations, then go to brewhardware.com and pick out a set of sight glass decals. Put them in your cart and in the comments at checkout ask @Bobbym to invert them so that you can use them for etching (he knows what that...

Beverage Factory / Kegco Brite Tank

So to add to that, $105 for new keg $35 for 4" TC set that includes gasket ferrule and cap $35 for 4" TC cap with two 1/4" NPT welded posts (we'll ignore the PRV, customization, and dip tubes for now). $30 for 2 ea ball lock adapter sets with 1/4" NPT adapters = $205 No labor for welding, no dip...

    frustrations with over-attenuation in IPAs

I mean heating as much as possible, personally I try to have the wort I'm collecting at or near boiling by the time I'm done sparging so I'm not wasting any time waiting for boil, and I know beta is denatured so my attenuation is fixed. Kai has some really good information on his website about...

Absolutely they can clamp very tightly. The only way to know the actual volume is test it. They handle heights could be different too. I would think that extra radius would more than make up for the 2" height difference, so you may be on to something there. I think the only real solution is for...

    frustrations with over-attenuation in IPAs

Beta amylase doesn't denature until 70C you are still sitting pretty well below that and if you aren't hitting it hard in the BK then you may not be bringing it up above that until much later than your 60' mash. Do you have the capability to heat your mash?

Beverage Factory / Kegco Brite Tank

That one is 13.2gal, that's probably where some the price difference comes from. Otherwise it looks to be the exact same thing
