Hey guys, I've been out of the brewing game for a while, so sorry if this is the wrong forum. I saw Northern Brewer had a great looking all grain pilsner recipe and I would like some help converting it to extract. Here's a link to the recipe.
This. You want the taps facing the front so they are easy to reach. You want the door on the front so it is easy to load. Opening the door not only makes the shanks visible, but also moves them out of the way.
Also, the door is removable. This means you can take the door off and attach it...
Adjust your search terms to find the types of trays a bar uses on a counter top rather than a "drip tray".
A quick DuckDuckGoing came up with this:

In a funny way drinks actually have more calories than solids. Imagine a pint glass of grape juice. How fast could you drink it? 30 seconds maybe? If I just let you sit with it and drink at normal speed it might take a few minutes, but you would probably finish. You could also probably...
Pictures below. For reference, that is a beer can in the pictures. To put this into perspective, most people selling a "rhizome" are selling a stick about the size of a pencil. A "crown" is usually about the size of your hand with some rhizomes coming off the size of your fingers.
3x Chinook...
1. You are fine. Everything is pushing out right now so no worries about sucking bad things in.
2. You need to use a blowoff at the start of fermentation to prevent that from happening. Usually this is just a sanitized piece of tubing running into a bucket of water (I like star san just in...
I would stick to one type per box or at least have a divider in the box that goes down a foot or more to keep the rhizomes separate. Rhizomes can travel a long way, so this physical separation will be important if you care to know exactly what each bine is as it comes out of the soil.
Maybe...
Free CTZ and Chinook crowns (yes you read that right, the full crowns) for pickup only in St. Charles, IL. The crowns were originally from Great Lakes Hops planted about 5 years ago. I started with 3 crowns of each, but once I dig them out I'm betting there will over a dozen good cuttings...
Shank prices are seem to be fairly standard. I'd suggest buying shanks wherever you can find the best prices on perlick faucets.
I have had good luck with www.northernbrewer.com and www.austinhomebrew.com
So I thought growing superhots was supposed to be hard. What I had labeled as "Bonnie World's Hottest" just sprouted after 3 days. I cut disks of 3 sheets of paper towel topped with a piece of unbleached coffee filter (I don't think unbleached matters, but the brown helps make the white roots...
DO NOT TRY TO FORCE ANTYING TO WORK WITH THE THREADS. A proprietary fitting isn't a deal breaker since this isn't a high pressure connection. Buy 2 hose clamps and 3" of tubing that you can fit over the outside of the sink line and get creative adapting down to the size of your chiller line...
Are you saying that the end of the immersion chiller will have a compression fitting to a piece of silicone hose which is in the brew kettle. The silicone hose then attaches to a camlock bulkhead through the kettle wall?
If I understand what you are saying, I don't think it would be a great...
Question 3 asks about the influence of back story, but most of the suggested answers were actually marketing related.
Did you mean back story as history, or as the way the beer is marketed?
I do buy beer on it's history; I don't buy it on marketing.
