I'm in western PA near airport and I got the same situation. Tons of early growth went crazy big early and a few browning cones. I have a couple that just have buds that started slower. I'm prob gonna rolling harvest as well starting this weekend.
What do you think?
Hey all. My 3rd year Willamette took off like crazy in the spring and has a bunch of top cones but not much from about 1-2 ft below the top just yet.
The cones on there have been there for a little while now and the tips of the cone leaves are curling slightly and they feel papery with...
It has happened to a couple of mine before and it doesn't regrow even if you go down to the next spot where it sprouted from.
What will usually happen is the next spot down will start shooting sidearms and try to keep going with those or it will try to shoot new ones from the base of the...
21 plants. All chinook. I went for something that will have good sidearm length and stayed same variety due to how close I was keeping them. Maybe in a year or two I can transplant some out when they mature.

haven't put up my poles yet but my plants are in the ground. Spacing is close I know but I'm going for a closed wall off for ambiance on my deck.

I'm gonna do something similar but my idea is a 1x4 piece of red oak cut the same width of my tray and stained the same as my collar. Attach that to the freezer with double sided tape and put screws in the wood for the drip tray holes to attach to. That way the drip trays are easily removable...
Also. Not sure of the details but apparently there is a new law in PA that allows beer distributors to sell homebrew stuff so I'd prob expect to see more of this in the future also.
In before the lock.
Ever think people might be enjoying their memorial day extended weekend and are just away from the computers?
PS. Bring water to boil with sparklloid in. Boil five minutes. Let cool. Add.
Happy memorial day!
Although there is a good spreadsheet I've seen around to compensate for the alcohol content when using a refractometer for during and final refractometer readings. I know it's on the morebeer.com site.
I know of one but it isn't me. Friend of my brother in law I met while on vacation (mostly to check out his setup) while visiting. They live in between Fayetteville and Sanford in the Carolina lakes golf course plan.
I can forward an email or something possibly.
