Did I build a jockey box or a foam dispenser

I see. The kegs would be kept in ice/water, and the stainless coils would be immersed in water/ice, so I'm hoping I don't create foam. I suppose if I test it, and get foam, I can put a few feet of 3/16 line after the coils and increase the pressure a bit to help reduce it, right? -Nick

Did I build a jockey box or a foam dispenser

I'm building a jockey box for my wedding in June. I think the box itself came out great, but I'm worried that the coils I made may be an issue. I got, cheaply, some 1/4" OD, .15" ID stainless coils. Since there would be too much resistance if I used it straight, I put the coils in parallel...

Specialty Grains and Partial Mash techniques

If you're wishing me good luck the way one might wish good luck to someone who's about to launch a bottle rocket out of their mouth, please note I'm tone deaf to such things, especially when it's text!

The mini-cooler is only 2 gallon. any more than 4 gallons of grain would probably overfill it.

Specialty Grains and Partial Mash techniques

Hi, I want to see if this makes sense to you guys. I have the equipment for mashing about 2 lbs of grain at a time. I'm wanting to do a Russian Imperial stout recipe that calls for 6.65lbs of specialty grain, since I need to add about 1.5lbs of 6-row to get the enzymes needed for...

    Light Pumpkin Ale kit tweaks...

Hi, I'm a bit new to brewing, and my first attempt will be a light Pumpkin ale. Before I had much of a chance to research this, I bought an extract kit called "Shades of Gourd" light pumpkin ale. (Can I mention where? I don't want to violate forum sponsorship rules.) It seems that it's...

    Hello from SE Portland, OR!

Hi, just thought I'd introduce myself! Over my 7 year beer drinking career, I've moved up from hating on craft beers and pounding 6 packs of coors light, to drinking a bluemoon, and so on until my drink of choice is now a porter or a stout. I was gifted a Mr Beer kit for xmas last year, and...
