I do half my pumpkin, or any pumpkin at that, and half guinness. Had it at sixpence pub, called it a smashing pumpkin, good stuff.

Id say modus hoperandi and anderson valley hop ottin!

Does anyone do this intentionally for added alcohol and fermentation?

Not bad, I use chocolate in my pumpkin ale, 1/8 lb. and biscuit. I'm on the side that uses no actual pumpkin also, just spices.

I did a coconut porter yesterday, about to start an american pale ale now!

My citrus wheat, The Citrus Immigrant. Before that Catawba Valley's Mother Trucker Pale Ale, Coconut Porter, my red ale, and my blonde ale!

Finally bottled my puncan ale tonight! I was worried about this one, I left out some things, added some things, and was a little anddisappointed when I racked to secondary. But after my r&d glass tonight while bottling, I am happy. Nice and spicy and creamy, color is perfect, I can't wait...

Anything? I'm brewing this saturday!

I transfered to secondary and out tasted good, a little thin but I know carbonation will change this alot. Should I expect alot less body with 1lb dme missing?
