    First label, and wax top!!!

I just Google searched the image. Then I used this app on my phone called Font Over to get the basic design. It was blurry, so a friend who had photo shop cleaned it up for me. The I just printed it on some labeling paper.

    First label help

OK so I made my first label using the Font Over app on my phone. The beer is a Belgian Quad aged on bourbon oak chips and cherries. It came out at 13% abv. Shameless beer plug.... sorry. My question is can anyone tell me why the image is so blurry? I uploaded the photo to the app and added the...

Irish Red Ale Raging Red Irish Red Ale

Came out great. It's a little on the malty/sweet side, but that's what I expected. I planned on having this for St. Paddy's day, but I don't think that will happen. Luckily I have an Irish stout waiting to be kegged.

Irish Red Ale Raging Red Irish Red Ale

I brewed this tonight with a couple variations. I used 8.75 lbs of 2 row. I added too much at the hbs and didn't feel like taking it out. I used .25 lbs of honey malt instead of honey to save a bit of money. I used wyeast Irish ale. The hops is where I really changed it up. I had some Hallertau...

    Belgian Quad Temp question

It was 3787. I wasn't worried about the gravity really. My concern with temp was whether or not the fluctuation would effect it. Either way, I bumped the temp. Its sitting at 74 now. I'm gonna hold there til its done.

    Belgian Quad Temp question

That's kind of what I was thinking. But this place is always the best place to ask questions. As far as taste goes, its good as far as I can tell. Its a week and a half old and pushing 12% abv. Needless to say..... Its boozy. Thanks for the advice. I'll keep an eye on it.

    Belgian Quad Temp question

I brewed my first quad a couple weeks ago. OG was 1.110. I started fermentation at 66 degrees and held there until gravity was around 1.032. I took it out of my chamber to bring up to room temp, our house stays around 70-72 degrees. I checked two days ago and it was holding steady around 70...

My two tap keezer. The wife let me move it into the dining room, and she gets to decorate. I'll take that trade!

Barrel aged Bells Hell Hath No Fury

I tried this beer at the Top of the Hops Beer Fest in Louisville KY about 4 years ago. It was so good I ended up sitting at the Bells booth the majority of the day, it was an unlimited sampling fest too. Anyways, do they still make it? I have not seen this beer since. I'd over to get my hands on...

    Clear beer!

Experimental beer. 3rd runnings from Pliny clone, Zombie Dust clone, and Oberon clone. 4.5oz of assorted hops, added at .25oz every 5 mins. Fermented with a French Saison yeast harvested from a Tank 7 clone. Came out to around 3.5-4% abv. Its growing on me. Lol.
