I bottled first week in May, so about two months now. Mine definitely had a big difference from 1 month to 2 in how it tastes.

Thanks for this recipe! I brewed this a few months ago, and it keeps getting better in the bottle the longer I leave it. This was my first stout, and my first partial mash, and it turned out great.

A lot of people on here seem to use vodka to sanitize fruit, as it is potable and doesn't affect the flavor significantly (in small quantities).

I think this is a neat label. I like the pavement theme to go with the running. Running a marathon at altitude sounds like a scary proposition to me. Good luck.

I think I inhaled some Columbus hops during my first brew. I was so excited I re-enacted the Sam Adams commercials from a few years ago (the one where he sticks his face in a handful of hops and breathes in). I could smell the hops for about 3 days after that.

I was disappointed in the chocolate bock. Too light/thin for taste. I was expecting something hearty, complex, and potent. Didn't get any of those out of the CB. It was ok, but didn't taste as good as the bottle looked.

Thanks for the suggestions. I ended up deciding to just keep it simple and am using a garden hose from outside coupled to the vinyl by a 3/4 hose --> 3/8 barb adapter. Works great once I figured out that the reduction in size = a huge increase in pressure, and therefore the hose has to be on...
