Maine Selling Perlick 575SS Creamer Faucet

It's yours! I just need to finish pouring 1/2 a keg or so and I will get it ready. If you need it sooner, I can figure something else out.

Maine Selling Perlick 575SS Creamer Faucet

In great shape, like new. I'm starting to have more people over and they often times pour their own beer and it's just too complicated so I am replacing it with a standard 525SS to save my floor. So, either trade for 525SS or sell for $30 plus shipping. Who wants it?!?

    Keezer collar too tight

Well, it's not done yet, but I got enough work done last night that I felt I could share it. Just need to get the casters on the base and the freezer on top, and install taps at this point. Eventually I'll figure out some sort of handle on the lid, but I think it looks pretty good so far!

    Keezer collar too tight

Ha, sorry guys, I've been crazy trying to tie up all the loose ends on the project... After much deliberation I decided to get a flap disc sander for my angle grinder and go to town. Took it down in just about no time flat. I am just waiting on a few details to come in the mail and I'll...

    Keezer collar too tight

I was thinking something like that. The only problem is, the depth would need to be nearly 3". I'm not sure if they make a bit that long or not without spending a fortune. I'll have to look at Lowe's on my way home tonight. Mark

    Keezer collar too tight

I made the terrible mistake of making a nice keezer collar without ever dry fitting it. The collar consists of 2x4s, and then a nice 1x6 oak trim piece that I glued onto the face on three sides. The oak covers the 2x4 collar, as well as the lid and inch or so of the chest itself. Anyway, the...

Steel Brewstand - Plastic Cooler HLT

Hello All, I'm starting to look into building a steel brewstand that will eventually house 3 55 gallon pots/hlt/mlt. For now, I have a 20 Gallon boilermaker, a converted keg for MLT and a cooler for HLT. My question is, how should I go about insulating the HLT from the heat produced by the...

    Chest Freezer Specs and Layouts

This post is absolutely incredible. Since all of the recommended freezers from the OP are decommissioned at this point, what are people using these days? I'd like to get 6-8 kegs on the floor and then use the compressor hump for two 5 lb CO2 tanks. Seems like a fairly common setup, but I am...

    DIY Keg Cooler

Thanks, I thought that, but I wasn't entirely sure. I figured I'd use reflectex tape on the seems to keep them tight. Now I just need to figure out something to seal the lid on nice and tight. Any ideas there?

    DIY Keg Cooler

Hey Guys, I've seen a few different projects on here regarding people that took cabinets and things and converted them to a kegerator. I'm looking to do something similar, but I am basically looking to make a keezer from the guts of a refrigerator. I'll take 1" foam insulation and wrap it...

    Kegerator cupboard conversion (completed) (almost!)

Love this build and it's similar to something I started thinking about over the weekend. It's been a couple of months since you last posted, Is this thing efficient enough that you would consider wanting to build another one? I'm just curious, now that a few months have gone by if you think...

    Corked Belgian Bottles

Hey all, I've seen this posted all over the web, however, I never see an answer to the question: How can I get the cork out of my homebrewed Belgian beers without using a cork puller? I've made 2-3 different batches now, and even after sitting for a couple of months, the corks won't budge...

Weissbier Bee Cave Brewery Bavarian Hefeweizen

I almost ALWAYS do a decoction with this beer. I think it helps bring out a hint of caramel like sweetness that I enjoy, and absolutely bumps efficiency. It definitely makes for a long day, but most German styles get a decoction on brew day.

Weissbier Bee Cave Brewery Bavarian Hefeweizen

By no means am I an expert, but this is my experience with starter vs no starter. I almost always make a starter for all beers, but especially this beer since as was pointed out, under pitching leads to banana/clove flavors. Only once that I remember did I pitch directly from the pack and it...

    5500W E-BIAB Build finally finished

This may be a stupid question, but how do you secure components to the box without screwing through the case? Those contactor's are bulky.
