    Frozen corny kegs

I thawed for about 12 hours, hooked everything up, waited 24 hours , tried last nite. Everything seems good, I didn't have a chance to drink before they froze so I can't compare but it's certainly not bad. Should I shake or mix it up at all? Or does the alcohol and water magically mix??? Sent...

    Batch sparge vs biab

I just built a mash tun and did my first 2 all grain batch sparged beers. My question is why sparge? Why not just fill the mash tun with grain, and 6+ gallons of water let sit for 45-60 mins and drain to bk and boil wort. Why sparge at all? Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew

    Coleman 70qt extreme cooler?

If there is room for 6.5 gallons of water in the mashtun why not just drain once ?, or do you need to sparge to rinse the grain? If so what % of mash/ sparge water volume is needed? 75/25? Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew

    Coleman 70qt extreme cooler?

Thanks for the explanation, do most people prefer batch over fly? It seems a little easier? Why do you have so much headspace, can't you fill to have as little headspace as possible? Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew

Can you explain/ describe continuous/fly sparging or mash recirculation, and why it's better? Sent from my iPhone using Home Brew
