    Northern brewer hefeweizen kit

I started with the kit then started buying ingredients in bulk and from my experience the yeast just makes the beer. If I add extra wheat LME or DME it is pretty similar in taste. The yeast is where most of the flavor comes from and you won't be disappointed. Cheers

Who has a True TDD kegerator? Question?

Thanks for quick reply! There is a hose there, but the pan is bone dry. I used a 18" piece of wire to see if there was a clog, but nothing. Should I try a longer wire to check for clog. The evaporator is where the tower fans are, correct? So if that hose is clogged would it drain through the...

Who has a True TDD kegerator? Question?

Reversing Air Flow on 4-way CO2 Manifold?

You can just remove the plug on left side and switch with barb from right side. Just use some teflon tape and tighten 'em up. There is a chance that the shutoff valves have check valves so gas only goes 1 way.

    Fermenting Temperature

I currently have a witbier and a hefeweizen fermenting away in my basement. The temp on the fermometer is about 60-61 deg. I am 2 weeks in and the wit is about 1.020 and the hefe is still 1.030, so I would say the colder temps will slow down the fermentation. I am expecting a FG of 1.012-.014...
