    thanks for the replies. if I can get between 5.5 to 7 I will be happy. that's what I was hoping for anyway. next time I won't be lazy and I will use my hydrometer. im gonna let it be. its fermenting like crazy right now!

    just did a batch of cider. it was 5.5 gallons of walmart apple juice and safale s-04.i decided to go with no sugar. was wondering where I would end up ABV? also if its gonna be too low on abv, can I just open the lid and toss some sugar in

    First AG attempt...

    just did a tad over a 6 gallon boil today , no real problems. just have to watch your hot break and when you do hop additions. i had a nice rolling boil the whole time. i think its only a 7-7 1/2 gallon ss turkey pot

    did the stout today. it came with the mash instructions and hop additions so i was good to go...it ended up being 1.25qt to the pound. i sparged twice...once with 3 gallons and then with two.i reached my 6 gallon mark in the pot and shut off the faucet, theres wasn't much left in the tun as far...
