what beer style do you most consistently make good

My IPA's orIIPA's always turn out great I have to brew them often. When I try to make something light for my wife they always seem to be lacking. She drinks them but I always feel like they are lacking. Could be because I drink a lot more therefore I have much more experience brewing what I like!

HBT member count = population of...

Once elected mayor I will ensure that all tax revenue will come solely from our towns beer sales. No more sales or property tax! Also the town will have beer lines in conjunction with water lines. Every home will have an endless supply of our towns best brews, all others will be sold for revenue.

    new brewer

I have not fermented any apes yet:drunk: sorry had to made me laugh... Depending on your yeast ales are best between 60-70 degree range. I would def do an ale first. A simple pale ale like Edworts haus pale ale is a good clean ale. If your a lager fan I think you would be really happy with it...

    Storage Wars

I can't recall which episode it was. They open the locker and it was a mess then the next scene it was all nice and organized before the auctioning began. Had a hard time watching after this.

Straining Wort into Primary Fermentation Bucket

Yes this is what I should have added. Straining and filtering are two totally different things. If you just want to clear some yeast out of your final product I would suggest "cold crashing". Chill your secondary (or primary if you skip secondary) 35 degrees or so for a few days before kegging...

Straining Wort into Primary Fermentation Bucket

Do not strain after fermentation. It will oxidize your finished beer. The yeast need the oxygen before fermentation. They use it to reproduce more yeast before they start eating the sugar in your wort. Straining your wort before fermentation is a good way to oxygenate it. It's what I've done for...

    First Time Brewer

Looks intense for a first brew... I wish I had had a 3 tier system! I would say dl beer smith to get your exact info for your specific recipe. Put your grains in first stir well when adding your water. Wish I had some some specifics for your system. Im still using a 20$ igloo cooler....
