Kegerator price reduced to $100, and I'll include the CO2 tank and the bar glass.

s Yeah, we're already speculating about where we might be going in the future. Thanks! It works great. I used a 10lb weight and it made perfect size coils.

I'm in Richmond. I'd be willing to meet you at a reasonable distance. I'm actually heading to Cloverdale Friday, so that might be an opportunity to meet if you live in Vincennes.

Psychologist. It's a direct commission, so I'll have COT this summer, Wright-Patt for a year, then 3 yrs somewhere.

    Indiana Selling my brewing equipment

EDIT: Prices reduced Well, I've seen many posts like this, and now it's my turn. Starting a family, moving to an apartment, finishing my PhD, and joining the Air Force means I can no longer justify hanging onto this stuff. I can meet at a reasonable distance, but I'd rather not ship items. Not...

    Frost/water in my kegerator

About 2 years ago, I got a free, working mini fridge that was heading for the trash. I bent the evaporator down, cut a hole in the top, and screwed on a two-tap tower. It's been a nice little kegerator that just barely fits two cornys ever since. I used a brewing thermometer and the stock temp...

    Semi-unique 3-vessel single tier brewery

Love the drawings. I'll be incorporating this HLT burner + heat stick design into my brew stand build soon. Do you have a link for the heat stick? Thanks

    Brew Stand Project

If you're still thinking about casters vs levelers, you could take a look at these tubing inserts. Tap them in with a mallet and levelers or casters thread in easily. Weight capacity is surprisingly high, too. http://www.mcmaster.com/#standard-tube-end-adapters/=hgkzha

    Who wants to...

Hell, I'm 2 hours from the brewery and can't get it myself. I did just rack a copy to secondary though.

Where did you get your HERMS coil?

What size batches are you doing? Any problems/delay mashing out? I've been contemplating 25' vs 50' myself.

Need Advice for Keg Lid Leak

Maybe look up the cost of a replacement seal for your model and double up the seal. Not sure if it would be cost prohibitive or how it would look.

    Sugar in Beer ??

I bet the beer was pretty flat too, unless they had a kind of canning jar that worked on positive not negative pressure. Cool history though. That'd be an interesting thread, old timey brewing stories.

    Stainless Brewing LLC good vendor?

I've been eyeing their coils for my future HERMS system too. I'm eager to hear how it goes for you.

    Next Steps - Equipment Advice

Another (read: cheaper) alternative to oxygen is a drill and this $6 paint mixer http://www.homedepot.com/p/Allway-Tools-Metal-5-Gal-Spiral-Mixer-SM5HD/202284233 I get pretty good aeration after a minute or two and I can still lift my arms afterward. It's also pretty easy to keep clean and...
