I'm using a brewhardware 5500W element in their RIMS tube. No problems with boiling in the RIMS tube, but I make sure I have good flow while mashing.

I'll give it try and see. The instructions didn't have an option for 3 wire hookup, but I read on the internet where it could work. I will likely use 6 gauge stranded rather than solid. My guess it that will be easier to fish through the conduit.

Should my neutral from the sub panel to the spa panel be 6 gauge copper like the 2 hot runs? Really wish I would have gotten the #6-4 at this point.

I have a similar problem as my indicator lights illuminate, but I never hear the relay click. I have no power at the outlets either. I am using a Raspberry Pi 2. Everything else is working as expected, but that one vital piece :) .
