I just got my Plate at the Sugarland Saucer, Makes #5 in Texas. I like the location and the staff. I come down from San Antonio 1-3 times a month and always stop in.

I am going to be starting a Hop Garden in Feb 2013 what would be 3 of the best types that do ok in Texas? Any and all help is welcome Thanks.

I love the app, I use it to log my beers when out and add my Home Brews too. I like that i can always go back and look at beers i can not remember if I liked or not. I have 300 logged so far and many more to go. Add me if you can I love seeing what everyone else is enjoying. JMG680/ John Gries.

Glad to see I am not alone, I am 1-3 to end a day as the sun sets and on weekends the SWMBO and I like whiskey and beer tastings and enjoy a few more.

Now that I have a Keg System I always have one under pressure and in reserve, then I have a 6 pack in storage of my last 3 or 4 brews for handing out to those who want to try. Any thing to never run out.

My first beer was a bad one too. And I did not drink them cause of the taste. Then after 3 months in the bottle I tried one and,wow, a good beer. Time heals most beers. Give it time and you may like it. Unless it was infected you should be ok.

Any one know the legality of adding liquor to home brew. from what i have read in Texas it is illegal here to add anything that boost the alcohol content after fermentation?

I was going to add to secondary and age for a few months. I am looking forward to the traditional mead, and the SWMBO wanted a fruity one, so two with one stone.

Just got done cleaning up after a busy brew day, 5 Gal of a Pale Ale, and then 2 batches of Mead. It was my first time and I hope in 4 months or more they are doing good. I did a sweet mead and one that I will be adding raspberry too soon. Thanks for all the info I was able to gather from y'all.
