Congrats! I just made a similar move for the same reasons, tired of hauling all those 5 gal jugs around! I have really hard well water, this has made a huge difference in my beers!

Just had this put in, it's a 40 gal nsf water storage container with a float valve to stop flow when full. Also have a pump and a dedicated line to the Brew kettles to fill em up.

And on the can!

I run a bakery for a large Midwestern grocery chain, I guess it's cool I get to play with yeast and fermentation even though making bread is not nearly as fun as making beer!

I've had the spike false bottom for a while now, I've never had a problem with grain getting through and getting in the pump but I do have compaction issues. There's is no way I could run my pump wide open so I have mine set a little less then halfway and I stir the mash every 15 minutes, seems...

@mob1800 (on instagram) designed both my logo and my labels. He was very quick and helpful and does a great job. I ordered them from sticker giant. Get the matte labels so you can write on them. Mine are 5" high x 8" long so they almost meet on the back of the can. I do exclusively 16oz cans, so...

They are totally worth it!!! No regrets here. I have been purging with a co2 gun I made and just filling off my flow control taps. No oxidation problems that I can tell.
