    Floaties

I have had a very light beer in primary for about 15 days now. I had been worried that my krausen seemed to be taking a little long to drop, but it looks like it has finally dropped. There are some floaties remaining though. It looks to me like it is probably bloated hop pellets. Is it okay to...

    Is this normal?

I'm not sure if this us normal or not. I brewed a very light lme and hops only beer last friday, and realized late in the game that I only had wyeast irish ale yeast on hand (smack pack, 1084 I think). I had a pretty active fermentation going for 2 days, and it seems that it may be done, but the...

    just got accused

it wasnt that off topic; and it did primarily relate to different religious organizations beliefs about beer. there's nothing wrong with a little learning along the way as long as there is no disrespect....just saying. (respectfully)

NO Carbonation and Taste like water HELP!

you are probably right, but with the small amount of info he provided, who knows? if he boiled the grains though, the tannins would make that the nastiest thing in the world to drink!

How to properly carbonate a Corny Keg

Not to hijack the thread, but I just started kegging myself, and i read the kegging thread located here and here seem to indicate that when keg carbing, you should set it to 30 psi or so for 2 to three days, purge the tank, and then drop to serving pressure and the beer can be ready inside of 4...

    A winning day!

along with the good, comes the bad. I in my excitement over getting into kegging (finally) i accidentally used WAY too much rasberry extract in my wheat beer (my first kegged beer) and am now left with having to bottle off about a dozen out of the keg, andf throw in a plain commercial wheat...

No... I understood what you meant by fairly neutral, but what would you use as a commercial example of one (brand name?)
