    How did you secure the fabric? That looks pretty awesome but I have the same concerns about weight.

    Maybe a dremel would work. I used that when I was cutting plastic for new speakers and it wasn't all that messy.

    give it swirl (not a shake) and move it to a warmer spot. Of course it may be at terminal gravity already but a prompt response is a good one. Start writing to your governor! brewing shouldnt be a crime!

    Use a sanitized turkey baster or wine thief next time. Sorry about the pale ale but that just means you have to start another batch! You should maybe consider picking up a bucket to ferment in too.

    Yeah you just need heat and the right amount of time. I'd say move the 40 to 20 and do a 60 minute addition but thats just my opinion.

    your late additions won't skyrocket bitterness. The late additions are how you get the flavor and aromas out of the hops.

    take another reading on monday. if its the same i'd say your good but personally i stick with the 3 week primary.

    liquid nails. best stuff ever. even with all the shanks and faucets installed i have no worries about my collar coming away from the lid.

    OK to drain mash tun into kettle without tubing?

    the boil will drive out just about all of the oxygen in your wort. that's why you have to aerate after the boil. The only time you should really be worrying about oxidation is after fermentation is complete.

    Can i bottle?

    If you're in that kinda rush just do it. But most of your bottles will probably explode and you'll be forced to mop up the 5 gallons of work you put into that precious beer.
