    Sediment in secondary

Hi I have three beers (two bottled, one in secondary) and found that two of them (porter and IPA) had krausen stuck to the sides and yeast sediment at the bottom but the third (red ale) had none? Just wondering why that is, the only one that was filtered before primary was the porter which...

    Carbonating at 50F/10C

Hi all, I am new to home brewing and have 24 beers at 22°C and 60 at 10-15°C (garage). Will the bottles in the garage carbonate, given time? I fermented in the garage and found that it fermented totally fine and tasted crisp and exactly as I wanted.

    Kronenbourg blanc extract clone.

I will look into that and see if theres any available at barleys. Have you made any beers with orange zest before? Will i get a strong enough flavor from two oranges? I want it to be a definite easily identifiable taste but not overpowering. Also was hoping for some citrus aroma which i expect i...

Hi all , Edit: Wondering if anyone has a basic recipe for a witbier (LME) that i could modify to suit my needs or if anyone has enough knowledge that its easy for them to put together a simple recipe... also is there anything bad with adding actual juices of oranges (fermenting into...

New to brewing, didnt add enough water!

Hi all! I began brewing my first IPA and Red Ale two weeks ago. I took the OG and the IPA was 1.075 and the Red Ale was 1.060. The beers seem to be within reasonable OG for their styles but i did not add enough water to the wort in primary (currently in secondary) and now have about 3.5...
