I kegged a Scottish ale and Pale ale today. I force carved for 10 mins at 30 psi just like always bit they both seem a little flat

I've collected my wort on one day and started the next by boiling and then cooling and pitching. I've done it that way several times w no problems. Just be sure to cover your wort

I have a pale ale that's been in the primary for eight weeks because I Havnt had time to keg or secondary. Is that too long and will the flavor be adversely effected

No. Everything's the same

My efficiency is usually almost 80. That's why I thought the projected OG for the recipe may have been off. Thus is my first pale. I usually do browns and Scottish.

I always hit my OG. Sometimes even higher. Yesterday, I brewed my first pale ale with 24 lbs of grain. It was a 10 gallon batch and the OG was supposed to be 1.066 but mine was only 1.045. Does anyone know what could have caused this ? I'm hoping the recipe is off wishful thinking

Please offer suggestions on what to brew this weekend. I generally like Scottish ales and brown ales. I'm thinking maybe a pale ale but I don't care for the ones that are too hoppy. I like Sierra Nevada pale ale and yazoo pale ale. I've just recently began drinking that style.

I went with a kegerator instead. It holds 4 cornys Bought the taps used from here. They're not per licks but they work well. Fridge, kegs, taps, and all less than 250. I Havnt added tap handles yet.

I have a refrigerator that is dedicated to beer. Has anyone chilled their wort by putting it in a fridge? If so, was it effective?
