Only one hop was used. It’s a one hop hazy ipa. I’m kinda weirded out by it.

I know the images are sideways but what the he’ll is this on top of my beer? I took the cover off of my fermenter today to see this. A big clump of something that is floating on top as well as that 1/4 inch of white powdery substance. Is this infected? Dump it? Never seen anything like this...

I brewed a one hop Hazy IPA on Saturday and put it in the Fermzilla that night. I woke up today and it looks like there is just one big trub and yeast cake in the fermenter. I see zero beer. Lol. I pitched Omega DIPA OYL-052 and it took off like a rocket! The smell from the air lock is awesome...

I’m not worried too much about brewing fast. I smoke a lot of meat so waiting and long days don’t bother me much. I don’t have a 240 wired up unless I unplug my dryer. And the wife won’t go for me messing with her dryer. Lol.

Anyone here have one of these BiAB Systems from Clawhammer? I’m thinking seriously about getting one. Seen a lot of videos and wanna pull the trigger on one but wanna hear from real home brewers about what you think, first. Give me the good, the bad, and the ugly.

Has anyone here bought this beast and if so, what do you think about it? Do you use the plain airlock or pressurized fermentation? Thoughts? Thinking about pulling the trigger on one.
