I have brewed two batches of the blonde. Its a great recipe! I rack the beer onto 6lbs of strawberries during secondary. It turns out amazing the wife loves it.

well i transfered the blonde onto 6lbs of frozen strawberries yesterday so we will see how it turns out

it might have gotten up to 70-71 at times but mostly stayed in the mid sixties

i used whit labs belgain ale wlp550. I fermented between 65 and 68 degrees

sorry it's in secondary and the final gravity has been checked three days in a row and it has hit its target.

I am brewing a belgium ale and i transfered it to secondary after ten days in primary. It's been a week since then and the gravity is looking good but I have been getting a little bit of a bananna smell. Is this normal? And should i leave it in primary longer the final gravity has been reached...

Ok thanks i might have to leave it in the primary for an extra week to wait till one of my carboys is done being used, not a terrible problem to have ha ha. thanks again

I usually dont transfer into a secondary, is that going to be a problem putting the strawberries in the primary after a week or will it be ok? Also is steeping them in 150 degree water before hand the best way to go?
