My Dad brewed once in the 60's. I do remember it did have at least one raisin in each bottle. I was young so I do not know if it was for carbonation or not.

I picked up my tanks beside the road out for trash. Exchanged for newer filled tank.

Thanks now I see how they work. I may just notch the hole or I will try to locate these clamps. I just do not want create my own problem with a leak.

My clamp has the square holes with the peg protruding through but the tab sticking out is more like small mushroom then a rectangle. Do you need a special tool to clamp?

I am ready to drill holes in keezer collar for gas in. The clamp from the factory has a small mushroom shaped bend standing out. Should I drill the hole large enough to get this through or take off the clamp and replace. I was afraid if I used a band clamp to put it back together it may leak...

I am to the point of drilling holes in collar for hinges. The collar will be attached to the lid. Do I just put the seal on the collar set it on and mark the holes or do I need to allow for something? I have read in one thread about using shims under hinges.

To work on a Cornelius post I used part A-117 ,1 nylon washer & white washer from sprayer worked great.
