    Morebeer!

    Don't know about their beer kits but they are a good company to work with. I bought a corny keg from them and it showed up with the handle just about tearing off. Quick email and a new one was on the way the next day. Wouldn't hesitate to think anything is good from them.

    Mistakes. Read one, leave one.

    Didn't make sure the valve on my BK was closed all the way before starting to drain MLT and left to put kid to bed, 2+ gallons of first running on the Floor :o

    The final parts to my SS Fridgerator! be about a week before my first kegged batch is carbed and pouring.

    Do you Stir in your Priming Sugar?

    Priming sugar, coiled hose to get a good swirl. then when I pull out the hose I give it a mellow swirl with the hose for about a minute. Never had an uneven batch.

    Different taste per bottle?

    Could easily be sanitation. but. How long have they been in the bottles? sometimes they carb and condition at different rates, if less than 3 weeks I would let them go at least that long and see if they have gained any consistency. I usually let them go 4 weeks and they are all the same.

    My experience with the handful of DIPA and IIPA's in the .074-80 OG range that I've done, 2 weeks primary, 1 secondary, 4 in bottle before all the green or harsh flavor was gone and they kept getting better up until about 6 weeks in bottle.     Doing a 4g batch of MO EKG SMaSH IPA tonight, which is my Weekend. Bottled a 5.5g batch of IIPA, last night. Gonna be an enamel stripper for sure insanely hopped w/ 230IBU

    Batch Sparging: what's your setup like?

    Yes Costco, I picked mine up for $80 on sale and they were still that price when I was there last week, at least at my costco. It is quite sturdy, It does wiggle a bit when knocked, I have thought about cross bracing the back with some cables and turnbuckles but it is not necessary.

    Been Quite happy with this setup. Holds all my brew day gear. I don't have to disassemble anything and just roll it out of the way when not in use.

    I have used gelatin in 4 batches, mixed it in at room temp let sit for 24-48 hours then cold crashed at 34-38F for 48hrs. all of them carbed up just like the batches I did not use it in. I think you would have to 1. use a lot of gelatin, 2. cold crash for a very long time, to not have enough...

    Thanks! I am sure going AG had a lot to do with it, but I definitely improved my overall process/patience a lot so it was a pretty significant jump in quality
