I run my second keg as carbonated water and add the syrups when water is dispensed. This would also stop the issue of the keg having a soda flavour stuck in the lines. Not sure about the line length I'm afraid. Compromise and go with 25ft?

I got a second keg and it came with a picnic tap. When constantly pressurised by a CO2 cylinder, I find that the picnic tap doesn't really stop dispensing unless you physically disconnect it from the keg. (I dispense carbonated water and add syrups) I'd add another Perlick if you can afford it.

I'd certainly buy a brew with a label like that.

Hi everybody, I'm looking to get and set up my first cylinder of CO2 and need some advice. What size cylinder should I get and does anybody know any good regulators for it? So far I've been carbonating with 16g CO2 cartridges. I'm in the UK, Plymouth area. Cheers people.

Personally I would disconnect the tap and flush it through for a while with tap water then steriliser. There is a chance that there is a piece of particularly stubborn piece of dirt or grease that is stopping it from closing properly.

How has the temperature in the room been? If its been getting hotter then the pressure in the cylinder will increase too.
