I do it (25 ft 1/2" stainless). Not quite as fast as my old IC (50 ft 3/8" copper) but also one less piece of equipment. I fill HLT with cold water and ice cubes. This is only 6.5 gal of wort though.

Did you contact the seller and/or BC? These pots are brewing specific. I have the 10g version and can say it holds grain no problem. I think I've seen others say the same about the 15g.

Ha! I thought about buying it when it went up for sale to turn into a brew pub. Problem was I was still new to brewing.
