    Techniques for backsweetening

    Buy some dextrine and add it. Before doing so, raise the temp to drive off CO2. If you don't, then you'll get the "mentos in pop bottle" effect. On second thought, keep all beer as cold as possible, turn on video camera, and pour in the powdered dextrine :) I hope it turns out OK.

    Guide to Making a Frozen Yeast Bank

    I use .25 ml glycerol and add 1 ml of my yeast starter at high krausen. This cuts glycerol to about 20%. Store in my deep freeze at about 5°F. Have never had a problem with resurrecting any of my vials. Just followed advice of a grad student workin on yeast.
