I agree with all that you said.
Pitching more than enough yeast and paying attention to fermentation temp has helped my beers tremendously. I also started using gelatin to clear my beer. It seems to cut the conditioning time way down.
Like some of the others have said Nitric acid will get rid of it im sure. Make sure to dilute it depending on what concentration you get.
A Concentrated bleach solution could possible work.
Do not mix nitric acid with bleach please.
Youll be fine on time if you brew soon and pitch enough yeast. You may want to consider a Fest style beer like they serve at the Tents at the festival. You should be able to find some info in the recipes section.
Im sure there are brewers in Shelby. We have a club of about 10-12 in Lincolnton. You are welcome to come its the third thursday of each month at 6:30pm at fausto Coffee on the court square.
I have one. Yes for me its worth it. Plus friends and family think it super cool that you have it at home. It can be expensive but I like it and my wife really likes nitro beers. I bought a perlick nitro tap and its badass, probably spent more than I should have. Also as others have said the...
In the caribbean they usaly have a good bit of Guinesse Foreign Stout around which is good. There are also a few local extra stouts in some places. Red Stripe Bold is also pretty good if you can find it.
Try as much aged rum as you can. I really got a good appreciation for it in Barbados.
Glad you got it worked out. I had to exchange a faucet I got that was the wrong finish. It was like pulling teeth to get someone on the phone that would exchage it for me. They make great taps but jeeze I had a rough go getting it all worked out.
Its my understanding that the creamer faucet allows you acheive close to the nitrogen effect without actually using nitrogen. So you would use CO2 like normal, im not familar with that and do not own one.
However, I have a Stout faucet on my kegerator. It uses the same beverage line as my...
Never used spent grain. However I have made a thick mash out of scratch feed, expired malt extract, and cheap soda fermented for 7 days with bread yeast. Take it to the woods and use post hole diggers to dig a 3-5 foot deep hole put mash in hole then spread some shell corn around. Unfortunately...
Being a Libertarian minded kinda guy I would just never live in a neighbor hood that had one. In the south we used to never have them untill yankees started showing up then HOAs came along a few years later. It really depends, but I wouldnt be surprised if they tryed to restrict you.
Not...
