    Harpoon Leviathan Clone Recipe

This beer turned out really well. It was a little maltier than I wanted and the hop aroma was hardly there. I used pellets in a sock. That said, it is really tasty. I named it my imperial Ale. it finished off at 9.5%

LHBS (when your LHBS Stinks and it is time to walk away)

However, if he is not a homebrewer and just wants to make a few bucks he should really focus on the quality of service and products they sell. I think I would love to own a homebrew shop. Not sure my area could support any more...

Where are you in FL? I am in Fort Myers. Congrats on jumping in with both feet! I used my counter flow chiller for the first time yesterday. I am amazed at it! I once made a batch and had no means to cool it. I placed the lid on the brew kettle and let it stand for the night. It turned out...

How much does home brewing cost?

I am not going to think about consumables. I have buckets, carboy, a turkey fryer, 40qt kettle, 2 keggles(one waiting to be made), kegging equipment and no clue what I have spent on it. This month I purchased a king kooker rig, chugger pump, and a DIY CFC. I am guessing I have spent...

    Scuba tank to inject air/oxygen

I did a lot of technical diving and had lots of 02 on hand. I had a reg with the 2nd stage removed, that I would stick in the wort and control with the valve. It worked fine.
