    First Brew, In Bottles

    Congrats on bottling your first brew! I have 4 bottles left from my first brew which was an IPA, and have 2 weeks left until I bottle my second brew, a lager. Cheers!

    Brew Friends in New Jersey

    Thanks for the info. I'll have to check them out sometime. I bought all of my supplies from NB and Midwest. I transferred the beer over to the secondary fermenter on Sunday, so I'll be bottling in no time. :)

    First batch and I’m already hooked

    Congrats on the first brew! I am patiently waiting to bottle my first batch, Chinook IPA. It's currently in week 1 in the secondary fermenter, so it won't be long until bottling day!

    Thanks for the info! Like shelden816, I'm new to brewing and just purchased the Chinook IPA deluxe starter kit from Northern Brewer, spoon, hydrometer and a 10 gal MegaPot 1.2. It set me back a few bucks, but I'm hoping that I will become addicted to this new hobby and wanted to start out with...

    It's happened in the past where I go home and read about the brewery on their website, sure enough, the brewer was serving me! I think they like to stay anonymous sometimes, probably avoids a lot of questions from customers!

    Long story short, a coworker has a freezer he wants to give away. It's at his Mom's house and she doesn't need it anymore. Sure, it's free, but the only catch is I have to get it out and into my house! Sure enough, I told him I'm interested and googled how to move it and what I could do with it...

    Just finished Season 2 of Stranger Things. I must say, I'm hooked. Any news on when Season 3 will be out? We're also watching 13 Reasons Why which has us glued to the TV as well.

    Small Taproom in your town's future?

    Five years ago there is only one brewery I can remember being around, Iron Hill Brewery. Now there are nearly two dozen breweries with an hour ride from me. The craft beer craze has certainly taken off tremendously.
