So I created a sessionable IPA and I wanted to add milk sugar to it. Well turns out my opinion is it drinks like it is on Nitro thick dense head with a thick mouthfeel. That could be the flaked wheat as well.
Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Hey everyone I created a web app (can be used on mobile) to determine if you will hit your target gravity or not. Currently it does not account for adding fermentables in the boil.
Let me know what you think!

Thanks vraftsman it is a cooler setup. I could see how a longer mash would definitely change the profile and extract. I just wasn't sure if collecting the wort would be asking for excess bacteria although the boil should eliminate that.
I'm going to be demonstrating a mash for a group soon which will be in the evening. I was curious if I should just keep the mash going all night or mash out and cover it to boil in the morning.
I've seen some threads that they mash all night but the mash will most likely be started mid evening.
Yea I shoved them in the carboy prior to racking.
I believe the cherries I have are just sweet cherries. I also tried puree'ing the cherries second time to hopefully impart more flavor with no luck.
I would go with whatever cherries you like!
Definitely put cherries in the secondary.Pit them first. I've created two cherry wheats from local cherries both times I used 5# and it didn't provide enough cherry flavor so I ended up using 2oz of extract at bottling time.
Duh I should have dialed back the efficiency setting, I just created a variant of the recipe with same percentages to create the OG. Just shocked at how high the IBU's came out to be vs. taste. It tastes absolutely delicious right now. Been 5 weeks so far.
Thanks frazier!
I brewed an imperial stout a few weeks ago and started thinking. Since I had sparge / water issues and my OG came out a LOT lower than expected and I stuck to the same hop schedule wouldn't my IBU's be much higher?

Perhaps it's sold by Midwest but they already sent it to Amazon so amazon will be full-filling the order through their shipping. Who knows though, I think i'll check amazon next time i need to purchase some items.
