    Newbie question.

    Is it necessary to avoid distilled water because the yeast need the minerals, like in spring or tap water, for their normal metabolism? I've heard this or read this before, but I didn't know if it was just for AG brewing or all home brews.

    keg conditioning

    Thanks for all of the great information. Does anyone see a problem with keeping a couple of kegs under around 25 PSI at room temp while I work on making room for them in the fridge since it will only hold four at a time. I don't want to stop making beer, but don't have any more cooler space...
