Brew planned this weekend, realized grain bill is not going to fit

It sounds to me like you NEED a bigger mash tun. Go get a 40 quart cooler, some pipe and build one. Here's a good thread about how to do it.

    Ok, Admit You Do It

I regularly mark every corner of my property. If you don't piss on it, how will they know it's yours?

    Does Yeast Die

If you add a little glycerol and cool it slowly, you can store yeast at -80 or below indefinitely. https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f13/guide-making-frozen-yeast-bank-35891/ In the lab I worked in, we used a Mr. Frosty (http://www.thermoscientific.com/en/product/mr-frosty-freezing-container.html...

I hate running, but this was awesome.

If running doesn't work for you, try a bike. It's easier in the back and knees. My club regularly does a rail-trail ride to a brewpub (30 mi. round trip). The beer tastes especially good. Now, if only they'd install showers or even a hot tub.

What the F is this thing?

Oh, I'm sorry, I meant yep to "Does the handle turn left to right (or vice-versa) to open + close the jaws?" It is an accessory to a tool that I frequently use to screw and drill. :mug: http://www.toolselect.com/tsimages/Ridgid-R86008K-full_size-59.png

What the F is this thing?

b-boy: Yes it's my basement; but I drink, so... Some good answers. Thanks for the laughs. My wife figured out what it is. Anybody else want to guess or should I reveal the answer?
