Check out my DIY drip pan!

made mine from an old license plate, much like yours. since it had holes in it already i used a dremel to extend those up (narrower, of course) and put two small screws (with heads big enough to fit through the holes), into my fridge door. easy to remove and rinse.

    Summer Citra Wheat (lemon!!!)

So glad I found this! I have some friends that love Upland's Wheat, but I can't find a clone recipe. I'm sure there is lemon in it, but having never brewed with lemon I wanted to be careful how I used it. Thanks a lot for sharing!

    Beer snobbing

I have to say I've sent back many a beer for various reasons. I think when establishments offer quality beers on tap they have a certain amount of responsibility to maintain that quality (i.e., clean lines, temps, no soapy/bleach glasses). Sending beer back should be no different from sending...

What is that taste and aroma?

I know I could probably post this in "extract brewing" but I really just want some general opinions and/or experiences on this. And sorry if it's already been posted and beat to death, but I must know. Where does that flavor in extracts come from, and what is it? Some step in the process of...

What is the best beer you have brewed

Generally like to stick to IPA/APA's, but I brewed a sour not too long ago that I thought didn't turn out (first time brewing with a sour mash) Two months later in the bottle it was amazing. Nelson Sauv hops really made it. Of course I'll probably never be able to replicate, but I'll keep trying.

Favorite non-homebrew to buy to use to bottle

Slanted bottles like Pliny, Monk's, Duchess. Also love small Coke bottles to use for sampling to see how my brew is coming along.

    No hangover/headache from homebrew

I've been drinking my homebrew almost exclusively the past two years, and have noticed a big difference the next day after drinking commercial beer. I'm also convinced it's helping me stay healthier in the winter months (it started out as a joke at work, but after I watched How Beer Saved the...

    Success!!!

Nice ass work! It's the best thing ever pouring your own beer from the tap. What I love is knowing you can pour as much as you want, whenever you want. Sometimes you might not want to crack open a whole bottle, and sometimes you want to fill a pitcher. Kudos!
