    Super simple control panel?

So, let's say I don't have 30A circuit where I'm brewing. Could I then have a professional wire a spa panel to my home's main breaker, then plug my controller into that? Would the spa panel take care of the GFCI protection? Something similar to this thread on HomeBrewTalk? I'm just not sure...

    Super simple control panel?

This would be in my laundry room, so I've got the 220V dryer outlet. I believe it's on a 30 amp circuit but I'll have to double check. What's a PWM?

    Super simple control panel?

I am looking to switch to electric sometime in the near future so I can brew in my laundry room (-8F in Nebraska today -- need I say more?) My ideal setup for electric would be one control panel that controls elements for both the HLT and boil kettle. I don't need temp sensors or anything -...

    Keggle volume measurements

I bought one of these and measured out the gallons in my keggle, and marked lines on the paddle with a soldering iron. I love it. don't know why anyone would bother with sight glasses instead.

    keggle lid

which ones did you order? I ordered 2 of these a month ago: http://www.foodservicewarehouse.com/royal-industries/roy-rspt-30-l/p5410.aspx The lids they sent me did NOT fit in my keggles. The OD was actually 14.75", so I had to return them.

    Stainless Steel Carboy for Primary?

Not if you add the ball valve. It sits about an inch or so above the trub, so once it slows down you can just tip the carboy a bit to slowly get as much beer while leaving trub behind.

    Stainless Steel Carboy for Primary?

I bought a 5 gallon one (actually holds 6) and it's great. It's easy to scrub out the inside and will outlast me. I liked it so much I bought a 2nd one. Would have gotten the 10 gallon but that's too much for me to lug downstairs. Anyway those things are awesome. Make sure you buy a valve too.

    options for 110v HLT?

I brew 10 gallon batches in the garage off of propane. I'd like to switch my keggle HLT to electric so I can set it on a timer overnight and have hot strike water when I'm ready to go I'm the morning. I only have 110v outlets in the garage. What would be some options for this? I have no...

    Solo Cup

If clumsiness and cost are the issues, just buy some wide mouth pint mason jars. They are far sturdier than most actual beer glassware, pretty cheap (about $12/12 pack at the hardware store) and also, you know, not ****ty plastic disposable cups.

Why Not to Pitch On Your Yeast Cake

So what's the non-yeast washing method of repitching yeast, for someone who doesn't want to read all 5,000 pages of this thread?

    Adding valve to corny

Just do this instead. I just made a similar set up. Got a cheapo pump at harbor freight for $12. So I can drop the pump in a bucket to clean out the taps, or with attach a ball lock disconnect to the hose on the pump outlet, and run oxyclean, then star san, through my kegs. It's pretty great.

    5 Gal Stainless Steel Fermenter

I'm debating one of these vs. the deep wood cavern - what do you like about this stainless fermenter? what do you not like?

How to completely remove water from an immersion chiller?

Hey now, it's not a BAD idea to clear the water out of the IC. Like many others, i keep all my stuff in the garage. One winter it got cold enough inside the garage for the leftover water to freeze and expand to the point of creating splits in the copper. Not a big deal, just cut off the split...
