I’d probably put it to a more normal temp and repitch. Worst case it’s still not good. But you might actually be ok. I think it’s worth the money for a little more yeast to try to get it fixed up before just dumping it completely.
I was just alerted to a national “holiday” tomorrow that I am dumbfounded for not already being aware of. Tomorrow (Saturday April 8, 2018) is apparently national beer day. A celebration is in order!

I can’t read Chinese. But....experience says....
It’s probably Baijiu. It probably doesn’t smell or taste very good. It will probably give you a headache. It will also probably make you do some things that you’ll question in the morning. Both because you’ll wonder if they really happened and...
It will...that’s what I do. I’ve found that “good” water hoses are problematic though. Their walls are too thick and effectively insulate them from the temp drop. Either use a cheap water hose (thinner walls) or you can put a second immersion chiller in the bucket as a prechiller. I recently...
I don’t treat kombucha kegs any different than beer kegs. A good PBW soak and running cleaner and then later sanitizer through the dip tubes (ie. Same way I do beer) has been sufficient for me.
The o-ring replacement probably isn’t necessary unless the keg looks old.
At the bar tonight I was discussing with a buddy about the many options for determining the level of beer remaining in a keg. While many of us rely on audio (ie. The wet “whoosh”
Sound when your keg is empty), others want to get fancy with their digital tap lists, etc. There are a variety...
+1 for Ready Player One. It was a good read, especially for anyone who grew up in the 80’s. I saw a trailer for the movie, however, and it seemed disappointing. Just read the book!
I just finished Artemis by Andy Weir (also wrote The Martian). It was an engaging read with a good mix of real...
I decided a long time ago to not live with regret because there’s nothing I can do about it anyhow. That said...
I’m not disappointed that I started with a low cost “first time brewer” kit but I do wish I’d done a better job of being more intentional with not only upgrading but also in kitting...
