Just a big note of thanks for all the help I've recieved here. I brewed my first all grain batch yesterday - and boy was it fantastic! I used the recipe "Good Life Pale Ale" from "The Joy of Homebrewing". It all seemed to go over without a hitch, and I was even drinking plenty of brew.
I don't know if others feel this way, but the smell was mouth-droolingly swell compared to the extract. My wife ussually turned up her nose at it, but this time she sat out in the garage and helped because, "It actually smells pretty good!"
Whoever thought of this forum, thumbs up to you. And all you wise brewers - thanks a million. Bottoms up to you
