I just noticed these little pods forming on my Zeus hops. They didn't get stressed at all. They are actually growing very well, and have been all year. These are second year hops and I didn't get any of these pods last year.

What should I do? Leave them? Cut them out?

Will they come back next year?

Will all my cones get seeds in them? Is that bad? Could I create my own "proprietary" hops?

Sorry for all the questions, I'm just not sure what to do with them???

I don't think hermie hops produce viable male flowers, but it doesn't make much sense to let the plant waste energy growing boy parts, so I'd lop 'em off, pour a pint, and relax...

Cheers!
