So I am going to be getting a new fridge and keg system and I was looking to make my own Tap Handles for it. I am a drummer and miss it dearly, so I though, making my old sticks into tap handles. I marched Bass so my sticks will be big enough to secure the proper threading.

What do you think? Do you think this will work? What other custom Tap Handles have you all done?

I think you have a winner as long as you can drill and tap the drum stick or use a ferrule. As far as tap handles, the sky's the limit as long as its not too heavy. I've even seen engine parts used as tap handles.

Shouldn't be a problem. They are relatively light and the end had a wide area to drill in.

I have carpenters in the family so the machinery won't be a problem. I also have a ton of sticks to trial on before making the final product.
