anyone ever replace their burner to a larger one and keep the same regulator?

didn't know how to title this one, but as the title states, has anyone ever switched out their burner for a different one?
i have 2 turkey fryer burners (the ones we all know and love) with these burners.


i was reading on their site and it seems that they use the 10PSI regulator.

Now as i was reading their site, i was looking at the SQ14 burners, which also use the 10PSI regulator.


now i was thinking, i could just swap out the burners (i'd have to make extra mounting hardware for the burner, but thats fine!) use the same regulators and only spend $18 a burner instead of $50 for a whole new burner with a stand...

Has anyone ever done that before? i'd search, but i dont knowwhat i'd search for

also, would this make any difference in the burn and eff of the burner itself?

you'd have to try it to see if you have yello flame issues. Most problems occur when running more than one burner at a time thus a lack of fuel. In that case you'd have to buy one of these. It's awesome.

nope, never more then one burner at a time. i either move the hose and tank to the other one, or just use the one burner depending on how lazy i am for the day .
