anyone ever replace their burner to a larger one and keep the same regulator?

didn't know how to title this one, but as the title states, has anyone ever switched out their burner for a different one?
i have 2 turkey fryer burners (the ones we all know and love) with these burners.

i was reading on their site and it seems that they use the 10PSI regulator.

Now as i was reading their site, i was looking at the SQ14 burners, which also use the 10PSI regulator.

now i was thinking, i could just swap out the burners (i'd have to make extra mounting hardware for the burner, but thats fine!) use the same regulators and only spend $18 a burner instead of $50 for a whole new burner with a stand...

Has anyone ever done that before? i'd search, but i dont knowwhat i'd search for :) :mug:

also, would this make any difference in the burn and eff of the burner itself?

nope, never more then one burner at a time. i either move the hose and tank to the other one, or just use the one burner depending on how lazy i am for the day :).
