Picked this up not knowing what to expect. I never had a Double bock before and to be quite honest, I thought it was terrible. I have had other beers from Troegs before that were pretty good but this one just didnt do it for me. Basically tasted like malt syrup.

Has anyone else ever tried it?
 
I had it a few weeks ago on tap in Wilmington (DE). I thought it was not very good. Try other doppelbocks, either German or made by Great Lakes, Capital or Gordon Biersch.
