The IPA I brewed yesterday is fermenting and I mean fermenting. Steady hiss coming from the airlock and the lid on the bucket is bulged up. I already popped the airlock once just to relieve some pressure but it's back already again. I mean it's got a head of foam out of the airlock vent. Just tell me this thing isn't going to blow the lid off the bucket.
This won't blow up will it?

Water will work but most use sanatizer.

I think you should duct tape the crap out of it, completely seal it up so no pressure can escape, then wait.....

Ok blow off hose done. Now I need to get a new siphon hose. Wow the amount of gas that thing is making is amazing. I guess I understand why people use blow off hoses now. This crazy ferment is good right.
