I heard that you may have to repitch some yeast if you let it sit in secondary for too long.

I think it may even have been 2 months now in secondary.

I have a cup of DME that I was going to use to carbonate it...

Tap off a bit, add some table sugar and let it sit at 70F for 3-4 days. If there is still enough yeast, you'll know quickly.
