I brewed a New Belgium 1554 clone. It tasted great at the first racking but odd at the second. Tonight, my first glass (and second, and third) out of the keg had a mild vinegar smell and taste.

It's definitely not something I want to drink. But can I cook with it? Like it's a dark, rich, vinegar? Or is it infected to the point that I need to pour it out?

Thanks,
Tracy

There are no harmful beer infections so as long as it tastes fine to cook with, put it to good use. :mug:
